Monster Hunter: Stories is expecting a second wave of amiibo for December 8th, 2016 in Japan. As previously reported, Monster Hunter: Stories will be amiibo compatible and will unlock many features in game. Scanning these amiibo will unlock special otomon in game.


Famitsu, has revealed new waves of amiibo coming into the Monster Hunter: Stories franchise, priced at 1,800 yen. It’s still unknown whether or not we’ll see these coming to North America but let’s meet the new amiibo. (From left to right):

  • Qurupeco and Dan-senpai
  • Barioth (nicknamed Hyouga) and Ayulia
  • Rathian and Cheval

Importing is an option for those who really want to get these amiibo, through retailers as AmiAmi or PlayAsia! More coverage in underway!
